  • Floki Inu, another meme coin, jumped nearly 25% immediately after the tweet

Billionaire investor Elon Musk is known for influencing the prices of dog meme tokens like Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), Floki Inu (FLOKI) via his tweets. And now, another doge meme crypto — the Santa Floki (HOHOHO) — has joined that privileged pack.

In a tweet Sunday, the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and Neuralink shared the picture of his Shiba Inu dog in a Santa Claus costume for Christmas. The result was as expected — many investors rushed to put their money on the Santa Floki token. Musk tweeted the photo if his dog with the caption "Floki Santa."

Following Musk's tweet, the FLOKI token rose nearly 25% as pointed out by a Twitter user with the handle "unusual whales."

And the HOHOHO token just zoomed, whether Musk intended to plug it or not. As per data from CoinGecko, the Santa Floki token is up nearly 4,152.8% in the last 7 days! The price of the token as of 12:14 a.m. ET was $0.000000633172.

The Santa Floki team made good use of Musk's tweet, although he never intended it as a plug for the Santa Floki coin. "And we are here to stay, watch our marketing roll out along with an upcoming metaverse game and P2E game!" replied Santa Floki's official Twitter to Musk's tweet.

Comparatively, DOGE was trading at $0.180425 while the SHIB token was at $0.00003646. FLOKI was at 0.00011744.

These tokens have been competing with against each other, and their rivalry has got a boost with the Dogecoin Foundation releasing the first roadmap in eight years and Shiba Inu team preparing the Shiboshi game and the Shibarium Layer 2 solution. Floki Inu has also struck multiple partnerships with sports clubs.

After Musk's "support," the Santa Floki team thanked the Time's Person of the Year in a tweet.
