Break out the streamers and the balloons because it’s time for a celebration -- “Sister Wives” style! According to the Season 6 synopsis for episode 8 of the hit TLC series, the Brown family will throw a party to celebrate a judge’s recent decision that allowed Kody to adopt Robyn’s three children from her previous relationship.

During episode 7 of the reality show, the Brown clan ended their year-long -- not to mention stressful -- journey when a judge granted the patriarch of the polygamist family legal rights to become the adoptive father of Dayton, Aurora and Breanna.

“This is what it was all about -- it was all about the kids,” Meri, Kody’s first sister wife, said after it was revealed the children of Kody’s fourth sister wife were going to legally become members of the Brown family. Meri played a vital part in the adoption. In the Season 5 finale of “Sister Wives,” Kody’s long-time wife made the selfless decision to relinquish her title of Kody’s legal wife so that Robyn could marry the Brown patriarch under the eyes of the law -- a step that needed to be taken in order to get her kids adopted.

In episode 7, Kody explained that the reason he wanted legal rights over the children, who he stated were already members of the Brown family, was because if something was to happen to Robyn, then the father of Robyn’s kids would become their sole guardian. That would mean Kody would have no input on how Dayton, Aurora and Breanna, the children he’s cared for and loved for five years, would be raised.

Now the large Brown family will rejoice over the judge’s ruling with a party -- that is, until drama sparks regarding the fast-growing party guest list.

The summary for episode 8, titled "Chaos In The Cul-De-Sac," reveals that the adoption party will “turn into a big event for several dozen people” when initially the celebration was meant to be a modest get together. And of course, this will lead to tension between Kody and his wives -- specifically Kody and Robyn.

“Sister Wives” airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
