It looks like viewers are going to have so many questions about Donna (Sarah Rafferty) by the end of tonight’s Season 6 finale of “Suits.”

In a recent interview with TVLine, Rafferty implied that Donna’s story arc this season will end in a cliffhanger. “There’s an ambiguousness in terms of Donna’s future on many levels,” the actress said of how the installment will end for her character.

In Season 6, episode 15, Donna and Benjamin (David Reale) started looking for investors for The Donna. First, Donna asked Stu (Ian Reed Kesler) to invest on their Siri-like device, but when he demanded 90 percent ownership of the project, Donna and Benjamin decided to meet up with a pair of other potential investors.

Donna and Benjamin thought that the meeting went pretty well, but when Donna went back to eavesdrop on the investors’ conversation, she found out that they only agreed to meet up with her and Benjamin because of Harvey (Gabriel Macht). Donna even overheard that the investors were not even thinking about going into business with a career legal secretary like her.

At first, Donna was discouraged by what she learned. But after Benjamin told her that he’ll no longer move forward with the project if Donna dissolves their partnership, she decided to “live to fight another day” and accepted the terms of Stu’s deal.

The synopsis for Season 6, episode 16, however, reveals that Donna and Benjamin’s venture hits a snag. Does this mean that their deal with Stu doesn’t work out?

While the fate of The Donna remains to be seen, Rafferty told Entertainment Weekly that this particular story arc won’t end in the Season 6 finale. “This is not going to be something that’s going to be tied up in a perfect little bow,” said Rafferty. “This is part of her journey that is going to redirect her course moving forward, both potentially professionally and certainly emotionally. I’m excited about that.”

“Suits” Season 6 finale, titled “Character and Fitness,” airs tonight at 10 p.m. EST on USA Network.
