Bratton Gould isn’t happy about Alex’s (Dulé Hill) sudden move to Pearson Specter Litt (PSL).

According to the synopsis for Season 7, episode 4 of “Suits,” Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) must get on the same page immediately when Bratton Gould comes after PSL for poaching Alex (Dulé Hill).

As revealed in the trailer for the episode, Bratton Gould seemingly files a lawsuit against PSL for poaching Alex.

“We just took one of their partners and now they’re looking for some get back,” Mike (Patrick J. Adams) tells the judge during what appears to be a courtroom hearing.

Harvey and Louis also meet with Bratton Gould’s name partner Thomas Bratton (Al Sapienza), who appears to offer them a settlement deal. But when Harvey seemingly refuses to settle, Thomas assures him that PSL is going to lose in court. “We’re five times your size, you cannot win,” Thomas tells Harvey and Louis.

Apparently, Alex wants to make peace with his former law firm. “Give them what they want,” Alex tells Harvey.

But PSL’s managing partner insists that he won’t give in to what Bratton Gould wants. “No!” Harvey replies. “I’m gonna figure out how to beat them.”

Also in the episode, Mike and Rachel (Meghan Markle) struggle to make time for their wedding plans.

At the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas last month, Adams explained why Mike and Rachel are having difficulty making time for planning their wedding. “[Mike and Rachel] are two young professionals who are at the peak of their careers,” Adams told International Business Times at the time. “Finally, Mike gets to be a lawyer, gets to do what he’s always wanted to do, [and] she’s just graduated from law school, and they’re super in love and together and there’s no doubt that they’re the person for each other. But the thing when you’re in the middle of your career and you’re working that hard, it’s hard to take a step back from that and also invest in your personal life, your family and what are you going to build.”

“They both have a lot of aspirations,” Adams continued. “So … it’s not, ‘Let’s go through the whole process and plan a wedding and everything’s perfect.’ These people don’t really have time for that. … [It’s a] love story where it’s just inherent that they’re in love, and really, you get to see them struggle with, ‘How do we make time for each other when we don’t even have time for ourselves?’”

“Suits” Season 7, episode 4, titled “Divide and Conquer,” airs on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 9 p.m. EDT on USA Network.
