It looks like Winn (Jeremy Jordan) is going to find a new buddy in Mon-El (Chris Wood) in Season 2, episode 4 of “Supergirl.”

In a phone interview with IGN, Wood revealed that his Daxamite character won’t have a hard time connecting with the newly hired DEO agent.

“Winn tests [Mon-El’s] powers out at the DEO in this next episode … to sort of find out what he can do, how strong he is, which is really fun for both of them because they’re both sort of like kids in a candy store when it comes to super powers,” Wood said. “That creates a really fun dynamic.”

It also seems that Wood and Jordan are getting along very well on the set of the CW series. Earlier this week, Jordan shared photo of him with Wood on Twitter where he called the “Containment” alum a “dreamy rascal.”

Although Mon-El and Winn share the same interest in all things super powers, Mon-El’s personality is far different from Winn’s.

“This guy has a bit of a selfish streak,” Wood said of Mon-El in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “He’s used to partying and living life to the fullest and not thinking of others as much. He’s sort of a fun and free-wheeling kind of guy.”

In addition, Mon-El doesn’t think that he should be a superhero just because he has powers.

“Not every alien is superhero material,” Wood said. “It’s big change that Mon-El has got somebody saying, ‘No, no, you need to be responsible. You need to be careful with your powers. You need to use them in a positive way.’ He’s like, his is great. I can punch through walls and jump up buildings.’ They’re sort of saying, ‘No, that’s dangerous and you need to keep that in check.’ That starts to get explored in [next week’s episode].”

“Supergirl” Season 2, episode 4, entitled “Survivors,” airs on Monday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. on The CW. Check out the synopsis for the episode below:

“When Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) investigate the murder of an unregistered alien, the trail leads to an alien fight club run by Roulette (Dichen Lachman), the ringmaster who commands aliens to fight in mortal combat for the entertainment of rich humans. While trying to stop the fighting, Supergirl (Benoist) and Martian Manhunter (David Harewood) find themselves up against a surprising opponent. Meanwhile, Hank (Harewood) is thrilled to have found another Martian and tries to get to know M’Gann (Sharon Leal) better. Supergirl takes Mon-El under her wing and begins to train him.”
