That rumor isn't confirmed, but what IS confirmed is that about 250 Apple employees are secretly making their rounds at the event, quietly judging their competition.

Corning announced their new all-purpose scratch resistant glass for mobile devices, Gorilla Glass 2. Apple is reportedly "weeks away" from debuting the iPad 3, although the device's actual release date will come about a month later, in early March 2012.
