Police arrested three men for robbing a Target store in Dover, Delaware, and getting away with over $70,000 worth of Apple products. The incident took place late Monday.

Police said the accused had fled from the store after breaking into a secured case that covered the Apple products and attempted the same at another Target store in Christiana, Delaware. The men were reported to be from Brooklyn, New York.

The officers nabbed the three men — 28-year-old Jonathan Vinas, 34-year-old Joey Lattimore, and 43-year-old Gilbert Cortez — after their car’s description was provided by the employees at the Target store. They also sent the description to other stores.

The car was found parked in Brandywine by state troopers after which the suspects were arrested and the Apple products were retrieved. The officers estimated the total worth of the products to be $73,893. The arrested persons were charged with organized retail crime, possession of shoplifters tools, and second-degree conspiracy. Their bail was set for $3,500.

The incident happened weeks after another Target store robbery in Ohio State University’s campus in Columbus, where a man stole several items and hid them under his coat. The suspect then exited the store where he was confronted by the security officers. The man warned the officers that he had a gun and reached for his waistband after which the officers let him go. The man was arrested later.
