A 14-year-old Wisconsin boy allegedly shot his girlfriend of the same age at least three times in the head after she tried to break up with him.

The incident took place Sunday just before noon when the couple was at railroad tracks in Racine, about 25 miles south of Milwaukee, as per NYPost.

At the scene, the juvenile female, identified by the family as Jazlene Jones, told her boyfriend, Elia Olson, that she wanted to end their relationship. He asked her to switch off her phone and tossed it aside. Olson then pointed a white revolver at her head and fired a shot.

While Jazlene begged Olson to let her go, he allegedly told the girl, "you have to die." He then shot her another two times before fleeing the scene. One of the bullets went through her eye and got lodged in her neck close to her carotid artery, as per court documents accessed by WSAZ.

With three gunshot wounds to her head, Jazlene managed to run off the scene and confronted a motorist passing by. Police responded to reports of a girl being shot around 11:40 a.m. at an intersection in Racine.

"The victim was transported to the hospital and then airlifted to Milwaukee in serious condition, a press release said. She is miraculously expected to survive the shooting. According to Jazlene's family, the juvenile underwent major surgery and may have to go through life with one eye.

"At 14 years old, this baby will now have to go through life through one eye and live with bullets in her neck and head," the family said on a GoFundMe page. "Considering Jazlene's condition/situation, she is in good spirits and is a walking miracle. She has a long road to recovery with life-altering injuries."

Police arrested Olson at a friend's residence where they also recovered a .22 handgun and two magazines for a 9mm handgun. Investigators recovered bloody clothes and shoes at the house as well. Olson allegedly admitted to shooting his girlfriend "in a fit of rage over a Snapchat post and (a proposed) breakup."

He was charged Tuesday as an adult for attempted first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a dangerous weapon, according to a criminal complaint. He was held on a $500,000 cash bond and was ordered to stay away from Jazlene, her home, and her friends and family.
