Todd Chrisley is not interested in meeting his estranged daughter Lindsie Chrisley after their disagreement.

Todd spoke with PeopleTV's "Reality Check" after he recently wished the best for his daughter. He made it clear that he is not pursuing a day-to-day relationship with her because he believes that she had been a "catalyst" for the investigation on their family for alleged tax evasion. He also said it was "heartbreaking" that she allegedly spread negative stories about them through various media outlets.

The 52-year-old "Chrisley Knows Best" star admitted that Lindsie, 31, sent him a text message asking if they could sit down with their lawyers. However, he refused her proposal by saying, "I am not interested," People reported. In addition, he believes that there are "certain things in life that I don't think you get past. And unfortunately, I think that's where Lindsie and I are."

Todd added that although he wants the best for Lindsie, he is not over the things that happened between them. He said he is still hurting but not angry anymore.

"You have to be careful, because anger is a tricky thing. And if you hold on to the anger it almost becomes like the fuel that fuels you to allow it to grow bigger and bigger. And I just don't have any anger anymore," he continued.

"The hurt is still there and I think the hurt will always be there. But I'm not looking to intrude in Lindsie's life. We're leading a very full life, and I wish nothing but the greatest joys and blessings for Lindsie and for Jackson," Chrisley said.

In July, Lindsie announced her divorce from her husband, Will Campbell, after nine years of marriage. A day after her post, Todd shared a supportive message on Instagram addressed to "you know who you are."

"I’m here. I love you. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I see it, and I’m working all things out for good, for you, my child," Todd wrote on Instagram. "There is nothing you can do or have done that will make me ever love you less. I will protect you from anything, and anyone who tries’s to harm you or your reputation."

When Todd was asked about the post, he said, "There was no purpose or intent in my post." He added that it was "Biblically based" and was meant to be an encouragement to his Christian followers.

"I was hoping that that quote would help her. Would help give her the strength that she needs to do what she needs to do," he said. "Make no mistake about it, although I'm not looking for a day-to-day relationship, I'm not looking for that ever to be a part of my life. If that's something that happens, then God will have his hand on that, and God will guide it. I'm not pursuing it and Lindsie's not pursuing it."

Lindsie said she didn't see the post because her father blocked her on the social media platform. However, she admitted to contacting her dad's lawyer. She also said she "reached out privately" to her father as she was hoping that their legal teams would communicate.
