Tom Cruise shocked fans with a new look over the weekend when he was spotted at a baseball game in San Francisco.

The "Mission: Impossible" star, 59, was at Oracle Park Saturday with his son Connor to watch Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants, Page Six reported.

Photos and videos of Cruise smiling in the stands and waving to fans as he enjoyed the game circulated online. However, his appearance had some fans speculating that he may have had something done to his face.

"What’s up with the bloated chipmunk cheeks?" one person tweeted. "What [did] he do to his face? Same doctor as Wayne Newton?" another person wrote.

A third fan begged, "@TomCruise What have you done to your gorgeous face?!!!! I was soooo disappointed when I saw you in the stands at the Dodgers game! STOP putting crap into your face please!!!!"

"Tom has done something to his face or he has gained some weight. But that is our Tom!" another wrote.

Some suggested that it was actually an impersonator rather than the actor himself, while others claimed Cruise looked more like comedian Norm Macdonald, who passed away last month.

"That is not Tom Cruise. This guy is on TikTok and is milking it for all he can," one person claimed.

"Gonna spend the rest of tonight and all of tomorrow wondering if some random dude convinced the Giants he was Tom Cruise," Molly Knight tweeted.

"Norm Macdonald's final joke is that he’s taken over Tom Cruise's face shape," another wrote.

Others came to the "Top Gun" star's defense, saying he is just aging naturally.

"You're seeing the real-life 59-year-old aging Tom, not the 'reel' life enhanced Tom," one commented.

"Listen, I don’t like Tom Cruise at all (AT ALL), but I’m seriously sick of Twitter trashing people for their weight fluctuations. People are allowed to gain and lose weight, and it’s really nunya!!! Stop being fatphobic!" another netizen wrote.

"He still looks great for his age. He's almost 60 for Pete’s sake. I wasn't expecting the '80s hair plugs though. He must wear some of that hair thickener and lots of make-up for public appearances," a third user wrote.

This was not the first time that Cruise's changing appearance has caught attention. The actor's face, when he attended the 2016 BAFTA Film Awards in London, was described as "inflated," "bloated" and "frozen," with many suggesting that he had a botched cosmetic procedure, the New York Post reported.
