“Spider-Man: Far From Home” lead star Tom Holland is by far the youngest actor that has played the character of the teenage Peter Parker. Holland, who is now 23, was only 19 when Marvel revealed that he would put on Spidey’s suit.

Most kids and adults, if not all, are aware of who Spider-man is —what he is like and what kind of a superhero he is, including the identity of the man behind the mask. The character of Peter Parker was played by several actors, including Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Apparently, viewers were intrigued when the British actor came into the picture, and made his first appearance in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Captain America: Civil War.”

Although many may have known who he is, here are some interesting facts about our newest Spider-man that fans may not know about.

1. He does his own stunts —most of them at least

The 5-foot-8-inch-tall actor revealed in a Tom Holland, Zendaya & Jacob Batalon Answers the Web’s Most Searched Questions, that he did his own stunts in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” but couldn't do some action sequences, which he described as memorable. Hence he clarified that he couldn’t take full credit for doing the stunts.

2. His body shape was worse in the “Spider-Man: Far From Home"
“The Impossible” actor confirmed that he tried to look bulky in the movie’s second installment, which he described was worse body shape compared to the first film.

3. He auditioned for the role of spider-man in several places
Holland recently revealed that prior to getting the role, he did several auditions in Ireland, Canada, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

4. He did hip-hop and ballet
Climbing walls and gymnastics aren’t the only things Holland can do. As a matter of fact, he did hip-hop and ballet. He took hip-hop dancing lessons at Lynn Paige’s Nifty Feet Dance School located in Wimbeldon, England, while his skills for ballet gave him the opportunity to play a big role in “Billy Elliot,” Factinate reproted.
It was also reportedly revealed by the Russo Brothers that his talent for gymnastics and dancing were key reasons why he was cast in “Captain America: Civil War.”

5. He really liked his “Spider-Man: Far From Home” costume
When asked, during an interview on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show,” whether or not he liked his new suit, Holland admitted he did because of its benefit. “Because I could go the bathroom mainly,” he playfully said.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home” earned $45.3 million, Forbes reported. The film is on its second week in theaters.
