Former U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled his major announcement: the launch of his own digital trading card collection.

The "official Donald Trump Digital Trading Card" collection features 45 fictionalized pictures of the former president, which include photos of him wearing a "Trump Champion" boxing belt and a superhero costume.

One picture also depicts the former president surrounded by gold bars embedded with "TRUMP."

Trump urged his ardent supporters to collect all "limited edition cards featu[ring] amazing ART of my Life & Career," The Guardian reported.

Trump said the collectibles "would make a great Christmas gift" and "very much like a baseball card but hopefully much more exciting."

The former president is charging $99 per Trump card.

According to the Collect Trump Cards website, every purchase of a trading card would have an automatic ticket into sweepstakes with corresponding prizes.

Buyers will have a chance to win a Miami dinner with Trump or a Zoom call with him, plus hand-signed memorabilia.

The website also claimed that it guarantees a ticket to dinner with Trump to those purchasing the entire trading card set.

But the proceeds of the Trump NFTs would not fund his latest presidential bid.

The announcement of Trump's digital collectibles was immediately mocked online.

California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu said the former president disrespects his supporters by launching NFTs.

"Dear MAGA folks: Hope it's clear to you by now that Donald Trump disrespects you and thinks you are suckers," Lieu tweeted.

Former Virginia GOP Rep. Denver Riggleman called Trump's personal collectibles launch "childish."

Even President Joe Biden, Trump's rival in the 2020 presidential election, roasted the former president.

Biden said he also had "major announcements," citing some of his accomplishments, including lower gas prices and the signing of the Respect for Marriage Act.

On Wednesday, Trump posted a video on his Truth Social account, saying, "America needs a superhero," and he will make a "major announcement" on Dec. 15.

Some speculated that the former president would relaunch his 2024 bid in the face of his eroding support among Republicans, while others believed Trump would run as Speaker of the House.

His new money-making venture came after a New York jury convicted the Trump Organization of multiple counts of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records.

While Trump and his family were not respondents to the case, the prosecutors said Trump was involved in the benefits scheme, which gave out lavish perks to the company executives such as company-funded apartments, car leases and personal expenses, CNN reported.

Trump may also face contempt charges for failing to comply with a subpoena ordering him to turn over classified documents.

The latest development in the Mar-a-Lago documents saga came after the former president's legal team found two more documents containing classified markings at a storage facility in Florida.
