  • Meghan Markle is blowing up her relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton, Dan Wootton said
  • Netizens want Prince William and Middleton to do a tell-all interview for their side of the story
  • Many users said Middleton is unlikely to respond to Markle because she has always been mum about everything

Kate Middleton made Meghan Markle cry, according to the latter. Now, Twitter users want to hear the Duchess of Cambridge’s side of the story.

Prince Harry and Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired Sunday. During their conversation, the host asked the duchess the rumors that she made Middleton cry. Markle denied it saying “the reverse happened.” The Duchess of Sussex said she didn’t mean to disparage the future queen consort with her revelation, but it still appeared that way to many. In fact, several slammed Middleton after the interview.

"Meghan: Kate made me cry. I’ve forgiven her. And I’m not disparaging her. Honest! The Duchess is going for the jugular and blowing up her relationship with William and Kate in the Oprah tell-all. One word: Unedifying," The Sun's executive editor Dan Wootton tweeted.

"When given the chance by Oprah to say something nice about Kate and their trip to Wimbledon, it’s very telling that she declines to do so," he added.

Several netizens said they want to hear Middleton address the issue. For them, the interview was one-sided because only Markle and Prince Harry spoke about the issue, and there was no way to know if they were telling the truth.

"We need Kate side of the story," one commented.

"I want to hear Kate's side," another tweeted while sharing the video of Markle's interview with Winfrey discussing the matter.

"Prince William and Kate Middleton should do an interview with Lorraine Kelly to give their side of the story," a different netizen wrote.

"It would be fair to sit the queen and Kate in a chair to tell their side of the story... the coin has two sides," @prettyfacehm opined.

"I would genuinely LOVE to hear Will & Kate's side of the story,” another wrote.

However, many also said that it is unlikely for Middleton to address the issue as she never speaks about any matter pertaining to the royal family or her, personally.

"Kate is going to be a QUEEN, therefore, she will never reply to a gold digger from Hollywood. Mega doesn’t deserve her time. Charles should cut them the money," one commented.

"We wouldn’t get it because Kate has class and it is beneath a lady who will be a future Queen Consort to engage in tit for tat," another wrote.

Meanwhile, another netizen believed Markle should have not mentioned it since she has already forgiven Middleton. "When someone apologises the issue should be dropped, not shared with millions of people!!!" @Irishbliss wrote.

Markle made it clear that the people need not choose between her and Middleton. The duchess also said Prince William's wife is a "good person."
