Walking Dead
Carol (Melissa McBride) will struggle internally over her "kill count" in episode 14 of "The Walking Dead" Season 6. Gene Page/ AMC

Ding dong, Negan’s dead … right? That’s what Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the Alexandria survivors believe after Sunday’s installment of “The Walking Dead.” Unfortunately for them, danger is still lurking around the corner.

Episode 14 of the AMC series will pick up after Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Carol’s (Melissa McBride) rescue. Despite being kidnapped in episode 13, the women were able to overpower their captors and take down another group of Saviors who were outside of the compound when Rick’s crew attacked. Everyone believes the threat is gone. However, the synopsis for next week’s episode, titled “Twice As Far,” teases that that’s not the case.

According to the synopsis, the Alexandria survivors will split up to go on supply runs. The episode 14 description reveals that the two groups on the run are “concerned with the future of the community.” But they might not have a future to worry about because “immediate danger will derail them.”

Could there be more Saviors lurking in the area? The promo video doesn’t show any encounters with other humans — but there are plenty of walkers to disturb a simple search for food and weapons.

Meanwhile, a sneak peek at episode 14 teases that Carol will still be struggling internally over her “kill count.” The clip shows her sitting down with Daryl (Norman Reedus), who is looking over his motorcycle. The bike was stolen from him in the first half of the season by two people who were attempting to escape the Saviors. Daryl showed mercy and tried to help them, but that backfired. He tells Carol that he should have killed them.

“Walking Dead” Season 6, episode 14 will air on AMC on Sunday, March 20, at 9 p.m. EDT.
