Wendy Williams has checked back into rehab after her health and alleged substance abuse issues worsened, a report has claimed.

The move came amid the 58-year-old former TV host's alleged falling-out with Debmar-Mercury, which produced her daytime talk show "The Wendy Williams Show," Page Six reported. The production company allegedly was not supportive of Williams' recovery efforts before the cancellation of her talk show, according to the outlet. International Business Times could not independently verify this information.

"It's gotten worse," one anonymous source told the outlet of Williams' alleged addiction issues. "She went from wine to straight up vodka."

Williams' publicist said in a statement to E! News that the TV personality has entered "a wellness facility seeking help to manage her overall health issues."

"She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with 'The Wendy Experience Podcast,'" the statement continued. "Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world."

The publicist concluded the statement by asking for "prayers and well wishes during this time."

Her publicist did not say whether Williams was seeking help for substance abuse issues.

It is unclear where Williams is receiving treatment. She previously sought help from centers in Florida and Long Island City, New York.

Williams' health and alleged addiction issues worsened after Debmar-Mercury allegedly "refused" to get her help, unnamed sources told Page Six.

"They turned their backs on her," one insider claimed. "They had too much control over someone so vulnerable."

Williams' ex-husband Kevin Hunter previously made similar accusations against the production company, alleging to Page Six that Debmar-Mercury would not agree to anything that would keep Williams from hosting her daytime talk show.

"Debmar would not support Wendy's recovery efforts with the family," Hunter, 50, told the outlet in July. "They would not sign off on anything that would've helped her recovery efforts."

Williams' family met with Debmar-Mercury at one point to discuss how to help the TV host in her alleged battle with alcoholism, Hunter claimed. However, he claimed that producers were not supportive and instead allegedly gave Williams an ultimatum.

"They sat in a meeting with her whole family, including her now-deceased mom, and would not sign off on the recovery efforts that would've helped Wendy also get well and live and be sober. They basically said, 'If you don't stop drinking, you're going to lose the show,'" Hunter claimed.

Williams eventually worked full-time while living in a sober house. An unnamed source close to the show previously told the outlet that Williams "still wasn't capable of making all the decisions" when she departed the facility but was "hiding it."

Concerns surrounding Williams' health and wellness resurfaced last month when she claimed to Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee that she was married to a New York Police Department officer named Henry.

However, her manager William Selby denied this, telling Page Six in a statement that Lee's report was "inaccurate."

"She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation," Selby claimed, adding that Williams does not wish to share any more details about her new relationship at this time.

Following Selby's statement to Page Six, Lee called Williams again to confirm her marital status. He shared the recording of their call on Instagram while calling out Selby for allegedly making him look crazy for his report about Williams' marital status.

"Everybody seems to have a problem with that," Williams told Lee before confirming her marital status during the call. "I'm married. I'm married. I don't care who knows it."
