The romantic comedy “When Harry Met Sally” is a favorite film of many, and even may have been a favorite of Princess Diana, who watched the film’s London premiere with nonother than Director Rob Reiner.

The film, which stars Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan, is a romantic comedy that has one memorable scene, in particular, that could have made the princess cringe or laugh in hysterics. The latter was true as Princess Diana sat next to Reiner as it played.

As Reiner reminisced about his experience watching the film with Princess Diana, now 30 years since the film debuted while at the TMC Classic Film Festival 2019, he told Extra, "We were all sitting there nervous because as we approached the famous scene in Katz's Deli where my mother says, 'I'll have what she’s having,' we realized, 'Oh, my God, how is [Diana] gonna react to it?' And she laughed! She was laughing and she turned to Billy at one point and said, 'I would be laughing a lot more, but I know that everybody's watching me.'"

The reaction from Princess Diana was probably just what Reiner was hoping for as the scene seems to never disappoint audiences even today.

While at the TMC Classic Film Festival Reiner was also asked if there would be a sequel to the film to which he replied, “Once I've done something, that's it... I've done it and I don't want to go back to it."

Reiner did hint that Harry and Sally would probably still be together today with possibly three kids.
