“Succession” star Nicholas Braun has been tapped to play the controversial former WeWork co-founder Adam Neumann in an upcoming limited series about the company. No network or writer has been attached to the series yet, but based on how timely this story is and the rising star potential of Braun, it won’t be long before we get more announcements.

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively wrote that the TV series would follow the rise and fall of the famous office rental startup company. The show would be based on an upcoming book being written by Wall Street Journal reporters Eliot Brown and Maureen Farrell. The account will also serve as a source for an upcoming documentary about the inner workings of WeWork.

Braun also shared the news on Twitter teasing his role for the upcoming show.

The upcoming limited series is one of many projects based on the company WeWork. A feature film based on Neumann and the company is being developed by Blumhouse Productions. “The Big Short” writer Charles Randolph is adapting the screenplay based on Katrina Brooker’s upcoming book. A documentary about the controversial company is also being developed with Business Insider and production house Campfire.

The ex-CEO of WeWork resigned last September after WeWork asked him due to his apparent erratic behavior, heavy spending and drug use. Neumann ended up getting a settlement in October for approximately $1.7 billion as the company faced some huge losses forcing them to downsize their staff as they are laying off some employees.

The new series comes from Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content, which produce content for Apple TV+ with shows like “See” and “Truth Be Told.” As well as starring in the project, Braun will also serve as an executive producer on the project.

Braun is best known for his role as the crafty Cousin Greg in the HBO series “Succession.” Braun’s other credits include films like “Sky High,” “Prom,” “The Perks of Being a Wall Flower,” and “How To Be Single.” The actor will next be seen in the upcoming drama “Zola.”
