Whitney Houston will give her first interview after a seven-year break to Oprah Winfrey, People Magazine reports.

The singer will be the first guest at The Oprah Winfrey Show during the 24th season. She has sold more than 170 million albums worldwide and has won six Grammy Awards.

Houston is set to release her new greatly-anticipated album I Look to You on August 31.

{Houston is] the most anticipated music interview of the decade, Winfrey said.

The interview will air on Sept. 14 at 4:00 p.m. on WABC/Ch. 7.
