If you weren’t familiar with rapper Giggs before, you surely know of him now after the release of Drake’s “More Life” playlist. The U.K. rapper is featured on two tracks from Drizzy’s newest project, “No Long Talk” and “KMT.”

With lyrics like, “Text, like it’s old school like in textiles” and “Could’ve just slapped a man, but he wanted it further / Batman, da-na-na-da-na,” Giggs made a lasting impression whether you like his style of rap or not. But the artist is not a newcomer. Check out six things you need to know about Giggs:

1. His Batman Line Is A Reference To An Older Song

At the end of “KMT,” Giggs raps, “Batman, da-na-na-da-na,” ending his verse with the nonsensical bar. The love for the line has been hit-or-miss, but the lyric wasn’t completely random. In his 2015 song, “Man Don’t Care,” Giggs used the same Batman line to kick off another part of his verse.

2. He’s Called Drake His Favorite Rapper

While Giggs has said his favorite MC can be known to change, the honor has to go to the “Fake Love” rapper. “It’s kinda changed over time, but I’d have to say Drake. I’d be lying if I said anyone else,” he told i-D.

3. He’s Inspired By American Rap

As one of the bigger stars in the U.K. grime scene, Giggs still draws inspiration from his American peers. While he doesn’t base his sound on hip-hop from the states, he does feel motivated by rappers from the U.S. “When I go in and hear American rap, I say Drake made a hard album so I gotta make a harder one. I always inspired by great music,” he told The Source.

4. Giggs Isn’t Allowed In The U.S.

Although some hip-hop fans may think British rappers have a pop sound, Giggs is the opposite. As one of the first legitimate gangster rappers from England, Giggs has lived the life he raps about. Unfortunately for the performer, that life has led to some mistakes. The “Landlord” rapper served time in prison for firearm possession and as a convicted felon, he isn’t allowed to travel to America.

5. He Was Once On XL Records

What Do Giggs, Adele, Vampire Weekend, The xx and Jai Paul all have in common? They were once signed to the same record label. From 2010 to 2013, Giggs was on the English independent label, known for its alternative acts. Giggs is now signed to his own record label, SN1 Records.

6. Police Have Tried To Put An End To His Career

Since his release from prison, Giggs claims a police force known as Operation Trident has tried to halt his career. Before signing with XL Records, the rapper claims the police called the label and told them not to sign him. Giggs also claims Operation Trident won’t allow him to do shows in London, leading him to put on secret performances.
