“The Bachelor” fans will remember Hannah Brown, who viewers know as Hannah B., from Colton Underwood’s season. Hannah, a 24-year-old from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, earned the Season 23 lead’s first one-on-one date before ultimately being eliminated ahead of hometowns. Hannah did make a comeback in the following episode to confront Colton, though ABC cut the footage.

She Had Her Share Of Drama

Shortly after Colton’s “The Bachelor” season kicked off, Hannah found herself involved in house drama. It quickly came to light that she previously had a friendship with fellow contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes. The rocky relationship between them became a hot topic during early episodes of the show but the two women resolved their issues later in the season.

As the Miss Alabama 2018 title holder, Hannah is a beauty queen. She met co-star Caelynn, Miss Carolina 2018 when they competed together at the Miss USA 2018 competition. Hannah went on not to place while Caelynn earned the runner-up spot.

She's Struggled With Mental Health

In a May 2018 interview with Alabama News Center, Hannah admitted to having to take time off from the pageant circuit due to issues related to anxiety and depression. “In that moment, it is so hard to see joy in life. I can remember times where I didn’t want to get up,” she said.

Hannah said the support from her loved ones and her faith helped her recover. “Even when days are just a mess, there’s always a light in each day." She added "I am here to encourage people and to be like...hey, I’ve been there, but here I am today. I’ve been in a dark place, but there is light in the darkness.”
