‘Big Brother’
Will one or two houseguests be eliminated on Thursday, June 29, just a day after the premiere for “Big Brother” Season 19? CBS

Big Brother” Season 19 will premiere at the end of the month, but the names of the new houseguests have not yet been announced.

According to spoiler site Big Brother Network, the names of the houseguests in Season 18 were revealed on June 14, but the premiere of the hit CBS reality TV show last year was also much earlier than June 28. Based on this, the publication speculated that the names of the houseguests will be unveiled on June 19.

Additionally, a live streaming reveal is also expected to take place before the upcoming premiere. CBS announced last month that more episodes of “Big Brother” Season 19 will be released online on All Access Live Feeds a day after the premiere.

Meanwhile, cast interviews are supposed to be released prior to the premiere, but it is unclear if these are already being done by the people behind the reality TV show. The spoiler site claimed that CBS’ press team and CBS’ interactive team, which are separate from each other, have not been active in recent weeks.

What is only known as of late is that all houseguests will be brought to their hotel room in Los Angeles a week before June 28. There are also rumors that vets or houseguests who appeared in the previous seasons will be back to compete in Season 19. However, they will not be introduced during the live premiere night.

Big Brother” Season 19 is expected to air three episodes per week. After the June 28 premiere at 8 p.m. EDT, the next episode of “Big Brother” will be released on June 29 at 9 p.m. EDT. A third episode will air on July 2 at 8 p.m. In the past, the premiere of “Big Brother” was a two-night event, but in Season 19, it will just happen on one night.

As of late, there is still no information regarding “Big Brother After Dark,” but PopTV will most likely cater to the late-night episodes like in Season 18. CBS’ All Access will also be available for $6 per month for unlimited viewing. Subscription may be done until September because this is when every season of “Big Brother” wraps up.
