Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey were both defeated at WrestleMania 35. After losing their championships, it could be a while before either former UFC champion holds another WWE title.

Lesnar dropped his Universal Championship in a loss to Seth Rollins to open WrestleMania 35. The result has only fueled rumors that Lesnar is headed back to the UFC for a heavyweight championship fight.

According to ESPN's Ariel Helwani, UFC is planning for Daniel Cormier to defend his UFC heavyweight championship against Lesnar in August. Lesnar confronted Cormier in the octagon after the current champion retained his title at Madison Square Garden in November.

That doesn't necessarily mean Lesnar won't have another WWE match before he goes back to MMA. Lesnar was expected to leave WWE after WrestleMania 34, but he stayed on and has competed in several matches over the last year, even though he's had designs of returning to the UFC.

It doesn't seem as likely that Rousey will get a rematch for her title, though she's not headed back to the UFC. The former UFC women's bantamweight champion dropped her Raw Women's Championship Sunday night when she was pinned in the main event by Becky Lynch, and it's unknown when she'll be back in the ring.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has reported that Rousey suffered a broken hand in the match. It's been speculated for a while that Rousey would take a hiatus from WWE after WrestleMania 35.

Rousey had her first WWE match at WrestleMania 34. She held the Raw Women's Championship for 231 days.
