Bryan Singer recently teased a shot of Ben Hardy’s Angel/Archangel in a fight club on his Instagram account. In the photo, two monitors can be seen where Angel appears to be standing inside a cage. He appears to have white hair and seems to be speaking into a microphone. The crowd can be seen cheering and looking at the cage.

Singer captioned the photo, “#eastberlin #1982 #fightclub #benhardy #angel #xmen #xmenapocalypse.”

From Singer’s caption it is clear the scene will take place in Berlin, and CinemaBlend reported Apocalypse may find Angel in Berlin and persuade him to become one of his horsemen.

In the comics, Apocalypse promises Angel to return his wings if he serves as one of the horsemen. Apocalypse genetically modifies Angel, giving him blue skin and organic metal wings. Angel gets the ability to fire feathers from his wings and Apocalypse changes his name to Death. During the Inferno event, Angel joins X-Factor and takes the codename Archangel.

In the previously revealed concept art, Hardy was shown wearing metallic wings and Singer said: “Ben Hardy is Angel -- I shall confirm it for you! But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say," Empire reported.

The details of Hardy’s Archangel in the film have not been revealed. Meanwhile, Hardy has been learning to fly for his character. He shared a photo on Twitter where he was seen taking flying lessons.
