She’s one of the women who knows the truth about JT’s murder, but Phyllis could push her other co-conspirators too far when she makes a shocking declaration on the Tuesday, Jan. 8 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After his attempt to take Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) out of the country failed, Victor (Eric Braeden) was arrested for JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder on the CBS soap. While the arrest wasn’t much of a surprise to anyone since Rey (Jordi Villasousa) had made it clear who his prime suspect was, the news was still hard for his loved ones to hear—especially Nikki, who is the one that actually committed the murder.

Now, Nikki and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are desperate to get Victor freed, even though proving he didn’t commit the crime could put them at risk of the truth coming out. However, one member of the group of women that knows the truth may take things too far when she admits that she thinks Victor is getting what he deserves.

“Phyllis pushes Victoria’s buttons” spoilers for the CBS soap reveal.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is also aware of the truth, but unlike the women who love Victor and want to protect him, she has revenge in mind for all the pain he caused her over the years. Not only will she start trying to convince Nick (Joshua Morrow) of his father’s guilt, she will also tell Victoria that she thinks this is justified. However, Victoria won’t take kindly to the way Phyllis feels, and will swiftly take action.

A preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above), shows Victoria slapping Phyllis across the face with all of her might. A slap won’t likely be the only thing she has for the woman who is quickly becoming her enemy once again though, and she will likely threaten her that she better not test anyone in the Newman family again—or suffer the consequences.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
