An excerpt from Chapter 6 of the BTS-inspired webtoon, “7Fates: CHAKHO,” has revealed an interesting connection between two characters who met for the first time recently in the urban fantasy series.

A portion of the chapter, which has been doing the rounds online, showed the unexpected encounter between the Jungkook-inspired character, Zeha, and the RM-inspired character, Do Geon. Confusion ensued as the two characters tried to understand their strong feelings for each other in the chance encounter.

"His heart pounded the moment their eyes met. It was more like a blood-surging experience to be precise. Something that Zeha had never felt before course through his veins," the excerpt from the series shown on online reading platform Wattpad read.

"What’s wrong with me? Am I crazy? It was embarrassing to have such feelings over a man. It turns out Zeha wasn’t the only one feeling something in that moment. Do Geon said to him, 'I just feel like I’ve fallen in love,'" the urban fantasy story’s Chapter 6 revealed.

It continued, "Zeha widened his eyes. It amazed him that they were feeling the same thing. Wait. What? What? ‘What’s going on?’ ‘I, I’m not interested in men!’ Do Geon laughed. ‘Neither am I. Anyway.’"

A Twitter user, who had read the chapter, tweeted, “Hybe after implying some kind of romance between Zeha and Dogeon and then just forgetting about it .”

Released on Jan. 15, the new webtoon can be read with an illustrated format on the Naver webtoon app and can also be accessed in a text-only format on Wattpad.

New chapters are released every Friday, but paying subscribers can unlock chapters ahead of time.

Previously, BTS members talked about their characters on "7Fates: CHAKHO" through a series of short video clips uploaded on the webtoon’s official YouTube page on Jan. 11. The Bangtan Boys described the story as seven hunters, who are destined to fight the “Beom” or the monsters that terrorizing the fictional city of “Sin-Si.” This work of fiction is reportedly only modeled off BTS' members' physical attributes and not their families, backgrounds or relationships.

The webtoon opened with the following synopsis: “It's the day of visitors. But the visitors to Sin-si are unwelcomed, vengeful beom. Unforgotten animosity fills the air and rage collides, soaking the ground with blood. Seven boys take up their weapons to end this fight, once and for all.”

On Monday, Suga teased the first track from the official soundtrack album of the webtoon.

On his Instagram Story, Suga named the first track on the album, “Stay Alive,” a song he produced, which was sung by Jungkook. The track will premiere on Naver Webtoon app on Feb. 5.

He also posted a snap of an unnamed song from the album which he simply called “Chakho – MIX 05A.”
