Following the release of “90 Day Fiancé” Season 6, episode 9, cast member Kalani Faagata took to Instagram to clarify her negative reaction to her second pregnancy after being criticized by fans.

On Sunday night, Kalani, who is already a mom to her son Oliver, revealed she was pregnant with her second child. However, the made it clear she was not happy about having another baby with her fiancé, Asuelu Pulaa.

When the Kalani sat down to tell her mother the news, she broke down in tears and admitted she wasn’t ready to be a mom again.

After fans began to criticize Kalani about her reaction and called her “ungrateful,” seeing as there are women in the world who are struggling to get pregnant, the fiery star hit back at her haters and explained why she appeared unhappy about her second pregnancy.

“I had antepartum depression while pregnant with Oliver, to the point that I wanted to kill myself. Once the baby came, I had postpartum depression: I wasn’t bonding with him, I cried all the time and wanted to die again,” “90 Day Fiancé” star wrote in a post on her private Instagram page.

Kalani revealed that despite her mental state she had to return to work where she experienced several emotional breakdowns. “I felt like I was almost out of it when we began filming and then found out about the next baby shortly after. I know my truth, I know the sequence of events and that’s enough for me.”

After expressing her sympathy for women who are struggling to conceive, Kalani slammed fellow mothers who tried to shame her for having no control over her emotions. “There are too many moms in this world who compete or try to drag each other down, and it’s nonsense. We need to support each other,” the TLC star wrote.

Kalani went on to thank everyone who has remained supportive throughout her ordeal and revealed she was genuinely concerned about how her second pregnancy could affect Oliver. “Please know that I was concerned about the well-being of my son because of my mental state when I’m pregnant, not that I was ungrateful to be pregnant,” she shared.
