Donald Trump is very close to his daughter, Ivanka Trump. In fact, there have been claims that Ivanka is the POTUS’s favorite child.

But on two different occasions, the president of the United States made a shocking reference about the first daughter.

In 2006, the POTUS appeared on “The View” to talk about his relationship with Ivanka, among other things. He said that if Ivanka isn’t his daughter, he would be dating her.

Following his shocking statement, Ivanka, who was also with the POTUS at that time, laughed hysterically. The hosts of “The View” called Trump weird and joked about asking him to get out of the studio.

His comments came after the hosts asked the president if he would be OK with Ivanka appearing on the cover of Playboy magazine. Melania Trump’s husband said that it would depend on what will be written about his eldest daughter.

Meanwhile, the POTUS also shared similar sentiments during his interview with Rolling Stone. In 2015, the president made a sexually suggestive comment about Ivanka when he called her beautiful.

“Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father…” he said before trailing off.

A year later, the POTUS said that he likes it when Ivanka calls him daddy instead of dad. And he made the revelation while at a rally in North Dakota.

And while at the Republican National Convention in 2016, the POTUS and the first daughter made headlines after the former put his hand awkwardly on the latter’s hips. Immediately after, Trump was mocked on social media.

“Why did he grab her hips like that? He’s so inappropriate with Ivanka,” Twitter user @blurbette said.

“Ok, so did anyone see Trump checking out Ivanka? Like, kind of patting her ass? Just asking for a friend,” Twitter user @christymeows said.

Ivanka has not addressed the incident.
