Anna Duggar is having a rough time in the wake of her husband’s second scandal this calendar year. The mother of four is reportedly “sickened and embarassed” by Josh Duggar’s sex addiction and cheating scandal, which has left her feeling like a “single mom.”

In Touch Weekly claims to have spoken with a Duggar family insider who shared that Anna Duggar, 27, is struggling as her husband of seven years attends treatment for his sex addiction. “Anna never saw this coming. Now she’s trying to figure out how to go on,” an insider said, according to a report in their Oct. 5 print issue. “She’s said she feels incredibly alone, that she’s basically a single mom. She often breaks down in tears. Her life has become a living hell.”

According to the source, the former “19 Kids and Counting” star is confused about her husband’s wrongdoings. As previously reported, Josh Duggar was revealed in August to have had paid accounts on the cheating website Ashley Madison. It has also been reported that he had several affairs with porn star Danica Dillon. “She’s sickened and embarassed that Josh had carried on like this while he shared his home with her and their children,” said the insider. “She couldn’t understand what was going through his head and how she did not know he was a sex addict.”

Now reportedly living with her parents in Florida — their children have been photographed in Arkansas with the rest of the Duggar brood — Anna Duggar has reportedly only spoken to her husband once since he entered into treatment Aug. 25. He is believed to be receiving help at Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois, a Christian-based treatment center. “He called her. It was a brief call but she was happy to hear his voice,” revealed the source. “She’s looking forward to seeing him in a month or two when the first spousal visitation is allowed.”

While Josh Duggar is away getting help, Anna Duggar is said to have pursued her own counseling. But according to the magazine, it wasn’t a success. After reportedly meeting with a pastor, who is friends with her in-laws, Michael and Jim Bob Duggar, she was left feeling “pretty angry” and “torn up and stricken with guilt."

"He suggested that josh’s behavior was her fault,” a source commented of the pastor's counsel. “He said Josh had certain needs and it was a wife’s duty to fulfill those needs.”

Ultimately, Anna Duggar is said to be hopeful her husband gets the help he needs. “She just prays that he gets the help he needs so they can go now with their life together, despite everything he did to her. She wants to his nightmare to be over.”

Josh and Anna Duggar married in September 2008. They have four children together; Mackynzie, 5; Michael, 4; Marcus, 2; and Meredith, 2 months.
