  • "Arcane's" second episode explores Jayce's background and the events that lead to his expulsion
  • Meanwhile, Vi and her gang try to lay low after their botched heist
  • The next batch of "Arcane" episodes will be released Saturday

There are more “League of Legends” Easter eggs to be found in Netflix’s “Arcane,” and eagle-eyed viewers may have already spotted some of the ones featured in this list.

While the second episode may not have as many Easter eggs as the first one, there are still a few things that stand out. Read on to find out where they are in “Arcane” episode 2.

Ryze

At the very beginning of the episode, a young Jayce and his mother can be seen braving a blizzard in what appears to be the Freljord. As Jayce’s mother collapses, the young boy calls out for help only to be approached by a mysterious hooded figure with a staff.

This man is assumed to be Ryze, a playable champion from “League of Legends.” Despite not having blue skin and his signature scroll on his back, his use of rune magic and the way he teleported Jayce and his mother away from the blizzard are strong indicators that he really is the same Ryze from the game.

Tear of the Goddess

Before being teleported away, Jayce received a small token from the mysterious mage. He has since used the token as a reminder of his fateful encounter with the arcane, mounting it onto a bracelet that he has worn ever since.

The trinket bears an uncanny resemblance to the Tear of the Goddess item, which coincidentally serves as one of the core early game items for both Ryze and Jayce.

Jayce’s Hammer

Jayce belongs to House Talis, a minor noble family from Piltover that made a name for itself by developing useful craftsman tools for the working class. Upon meeting with Caitlyn, he mentions he may end up joining the Talis hammer business.

The fact that Jayce’s family is all about hammers and other tools gives his signature weapon, the Mercury Hammer, a deeper meaning, as it represents his entire family’s identity and role in the City of Progress.

Jae Medarda

During Jayce’s trial, one of the councilors is introduced as Mel Medarda. While Mel herself carries a lot of weight in Piltover’s politics, there may be more to her family name than what viewers may think.

In “Legends of Runeterra,” there is a Piltover card that features Jae Medarda, a prolific explorer who would rather dive into a dungeon than manage the family’s business. It’s unclear what Jae’s relationship to Mel is, but since the “family business” was mentioned, it’s safe to assume that they’re siblings.

Teemo

During the arcade scene, Powder can be seen heading towards a game machine after showing off at the shooting range. Briefly, a silhouette of Teemo can be seen on the machine before the Piltover enforcers caused a commotion outside.
