After Jessica announced that she will be using the third “Den of Temptation,” this week’s eviction ceremony was completely hexed. Unfortunately for her, this doesn’t guarantee her or Cody’s safety this week. After the live Head of Household (HOH) competition took place, Josh Martinez was named as this week’s HOH.

Josh has had several heated arguments with Jessica and Cody throughout the past couple of weeks so it is highly likely that he will nominate the two. Josh also has very strong alliances with veteran Paul Abrahamian and the rest of the houseguests who voted to keep him safe over Ramses Soto during the week that Jessica was HOH.

With this and Paul feeding ideas to Josh, Jessica and Cody are likely in danger. Two weeks ago, it was also Paul who told Josh that he would be safe from eviction. All he had to do was pretend that he was remorseful and act as though he wants to be at peace with everyone. Josh did a good job at pretending he knew his fate was sealed so Jessica thought that everything would go according to her plan. On eviction night, Ramses was the one who was voted out, Josh stayed, and the entire house turned upside down.

But luckily for Jessica and Cody, they still have two life lines in the competition. There’s an upcoming Temptation Competition twist game that could guarantee one of their safety. As possible upcoming nominees, they will also get to compete in the upcoming Power of Veto (POV) game. If Jessica wins in the twist game and Cody wins in the POV competition, or vice versa, they could stay in the house for another week.

However, the houseguests still don’t have any idea what these games would entail. But it has been clear that Jessica would fight for her safety until the end even though Cody already said that he doesn’t think he could ever bring home the $500,000 grand prize.

“Big Brother” Season 19 returns to CBS on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT.
