On Wednesday night, the houseguests were called to the backyard to practice for the HOH game. According to Big Brother Network, it is common for “Big Brother” to ask houseguests to practice before an HOH competition is played live on the show. This way, the houseguests already know what to do, and host Julie Chen won’t have a hard time explaining the instructions to them.

Next week’s competition involves a game of golf wherein the houseguests would have to stand on an angled platform. Each one is given 10 tries to swing a large ball until it hits the milk carton at the other end. But swinging the ball directly towards the carton could be very challenging since there are several blocks along the way.

Meanwhile, outgoing HOH Paul Abrahamian will not compete in the upcoming game. This means that whoever will win would have all the power in the house. Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson are both serious about winning this week since they know one of them could get evicted if they do not succeed.

Previously, Jessica won HOH and received the Power of Veto (POV), but she refused to use it to take Paul out. After trying to build a relationship with Paul, the returning vet became this week’s HOH and targeted Jessica and Cody again. During last week’s live show, Jessica revealed that she has the third Den of Temptation that could save her and Cody from being evicted this week.

Unfortunately, Paul thought that Jessica was just bluffing so he decided to still nominate the showmance. On Thursday night’s live show, Paul and the other houseguests will be shocked to know that there won’t be a live eviction. After all, Jessica’s Halting Hex could stop any one of the four eviction ceremonies before it even begins.

“Big Brother” Season 19 will air the next episode on CBS on Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT.
