Blackpink members reunited for a live chat Tuesday shortly after a two-day Twitter protest by their fans who asked YG Entertainment to prepare the comeback activities of the popular girl group.

Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and Rosé sat for a short catchup with fans via the VLive app. The quartet interacted with their fans and posed for snaps for their multitudes of loyal supporters who have been waiting for their return to the recording studio as a group.

“CRYING REAL TEARS RN,” @hourlylisoo said.

Another fan caught the group goofing around in front of the camera. “BLACKPINK OT4 VLIVE,” @jenniesrenes said.

The VLive started with Jisoo and Lisa giggling while reading fan comments. At one point, Lisa said she wants to grow out her bangs before talking about the change in her hair color from pink to blonde.

Jisoo replied, “I like the color better. Your face looks brighter.”

Later, fans (collectively known as BLINKS) were surprised when Rosé joined the live chat and sat on Lisa’s lap as Jisoo struggled to fit the three of them into the camera’s frame.

“Annyeong (Hello),” Rosé said before Lisa tickled her.

Jennie was the last to join the live chat which led the group to pose for more souvenir photos.

Blackpink’s last album, “The Album” was released in 2020 contains “How You Like That” which set a new record on YouTube in June 2020 after registering a total of 86.3 million views in the first 24 hours. The video also received a total of 1.66 million viewers when it premiered on the platform.

“The Album” also contains their Selena Gomez-collaboration track “Ice Cream” which debuted at No. 13 on Billboard’s Hot 100 in August 2020.

Three of the group's members – Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé have released successful solo albums leaving Jisoo as the only member who is yet to come out with a solo album.
