Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are back on the TV screen for the premiere of "The Voice" Season 9. After the summer break, it seems like the bromantic rivalry is strong between these two guys on their swivel chairs as the teasing still continues.

As Levine is sporting a new haircut this fall, Sheldon didn’t hold back with his words and teased the "Maroon 5" singer. In a recent visit to the show, Maria Menounos of E! News interviewed Sheldon who made a joke about Levine’s recent haircut.

E!Online quoted Sheldon saying, “If I ever wanted to go out of my way to look like a complete idiot, I may have to shave my head like Adam.” He also compared Levine to a list of bald-headed evil pop culture characters, while the show was being filmed.

TV show host Carson Daly on the other hand, said that he was shocked when Shelton gets to enumerate every famous evil, bald-headed characters in film and TV. For Daly, it seems like Shelton must have spent 10 hours researching for jokes about them.

Levine admitted that he helped out Shelton in naming all these characters as the latter barely knows half the characters he made references to. The alternative singer said, “I gave him everything he used. He didn’t even know who half the people were.”

Meanwhile, it seems like the two coaches are keeping their relationship fresh in the new season of "The Voice." In an exclusive interview with People, Levine reveals what for him are the best and worst parts of being coaches in the said show. Levine said of Shelton, “You know the friendship,” to which the country singer added, “With the other coaches.” For the two singers, they revealed that one of the worst parts of being in the show is being with each other.

“I love you but I don’t enjoy spending any time with you,” Levine tells Shelton. Shelton, on the other hand, tells Levine, “That’s how I feel too.”

"The Voice" returned on NBC on Monday night with Shelton and Levine as some of its mainstays, alongside returning judge, Gwen Stefani of "No Doubt," and N.E.R.D.’s Pharell Williams.
