Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston
Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have separated after 4 12 years of marriage but remain 'committed and caring friends,' the couple said January 7, 2005 Reuters

It has been six years and the Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston war is still not over. Pitt moved on to Angelina Jolie very shortly after his separation from Aniston and has been with her ever since. Aniston too is happy with Justin Theroux and the couple just recently moved in together.

Then why is it that Pitt-Aniston war continues?

Pitt in an interview recently spoke about his 5-year-long marriage with Aniston, something he has never been open to the media about. He bragged about how happy he is with Jolie and that how it was the best thing for him to have Jolie as a mother to his kids.

All this, when Aniston has been hitting headlines recently for her hot romance with Theroux and after the news that that the couple moved in together, taking their relationship to a new level.

Can it be concluded that it is the jealous Pitt speaking? Is it that Pitt is somewhere finding it difficult to absorb the fact that his ex-wife is finally in a stable relationship?

Pitt-Aniston marriage ended in 2005, and Pitt remained largely silent about his marriage with Aniston.

In an interview released on Sept. 15, Pitt, 47, said that he wasn't living an interesting life before Jolie, and that he was trying to pretend my marriage was something that it wasn't.

Aniston, 42, got furious with what he told the media and, according to a Reuters report, said that Pitt was missing a sensitivity chip. She obviously found it rude and inappropriate.

In a matter of 24 hours, Pitt had surprisingly released a statement stating that his words about ex-wife Aniston were misinterpreted by the media and that former wife is an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman.

We think he's jealous she's in love, US Magazine quoted unidentified source as saying.

But then what is Aniston up to after all the drama? She has not let Pitt's comment affect her relationship or life in anyway.

Justin's The One! an Aniston pal says according to the report.
