BTS's Jimin recently set a new record and became the first and only South Korean individual to surpass 70 million views on TikTok with his latest dance video.

On Sept. 25, the 24-year-old pop star, who holds the titles of "Social Media King" and "Record Maker," set a new record by becoming the first and only Korean individual with the highest views on TikTok with his cute and adorable bubblehead dance video.

The video was uploaded on BTS's official TikTok channel on April 18 with the caption "shall we raise our excitement before seeing BangBangCon #AllOvertheWorldBANGBANGCON #BANGBANGCON #2HeadFigureParty #IPreparedADance #JIMIN."

It has since gained over 70 million views and 8.2 million likes, making it the second most liked solo TikTok video by a South Korean national.

In the video, Jimin is seen dancing to BTS's "Boy With Luv" song with a bobblehead animation ahead of their first free 2-day online concerts that took place on April 18 and April 19, according to Allkpop.

Moreover, the singer's unique hashtag #JIMIN also holds the record for being the second most viewed hashtag by an individual on TikTok with over 15.8 billion views, despite not having a personal Tiktok account.

Along with this, TikTok users have used the sound clip from Jimin's single "Filter" over 210,000 times in their videos. This set the record for being the most used sound clip amongst the BTS members.

The song has also surpassed over 84 million streams on Spotify since its release. The single also made it to the 5th spot on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart.

Jimin certainly lived up to the title of BTS’s "Social Media King." He also previously set several records on Vlive app with one of them being the most liked live broadcast on Vlive.

Here's what fans had to say about the singer's new TikTok record:

"Congrats Jimin for one more first!!!"

"Could Jimin get any cuter?"

"Let's hope Jimin sees it and makes more videos like this"

"I need a break from TikTok! My feed is filled with BTS vids and I'm going crazy again. I'm gonna explode"
