  • Additions and updates to "Call of Duty: Warzone" has resulted in some problems in the game's user interface
  • Infinity Ward developer Joe Cecot took to Twitter to respond to fans and promised that these will be addressed in the next big update
  • The popular Plunder mode, sacrificed in favor of Warzone Rumble, will also return according to Cecot

A developer at Infinity Ward has announced plans to tweak the current user interface in “Call of Duty: Warzone” to remedy a dilemma that has been popping up in the game’s menu.

With a variety of new and interesting game modes being added to keep players engaged, integrating everything into a seamless whole has been noticeably absent as of yet. Joe Cecot, a developer at Infinity Ward, has addressed this issue and tweeted that a UI update is indeed coming that will finally address this issue in the game’s next big update, reports Gamespot.

Game modes are often being moved around for temporary events, resulting in the menu being cluttered and hard to navigate. The upcoming update teased by Cecot will focus on visibility and making more room for the different modes.

Another question sent Cecot’s way was the removal of the popular Plunder mode from the launch of Warzone Season 4. As opposed to normal modes, where a cloud of toxic gas slowly engulfs the map and forces players towards an end-zone, the Plunder mode is based solely on collecting as much as you possibly can. When one team reaches $1,000,000, this triggers a two-minute timer that gives players a final 120 seconds to snatch up even more cash.

Plunder was sacrificed in favor of new game modes like Warzone Rumble, but Cecot promised that, as one of his favorite modes, Plunder would be back shortly. In Warzone Rumble, two teams of 50 players with action taking place in various places on the Verdansk map.

A playlist update not long after Rumble went live increased the score limit to 400 while also temporarily disabling the Gun Game mode in order to fix a bug. According to Gamespot, the Warzone playlist update also confirms that other modes that will be available in the Season 4 update include Quads, Trios, Duos, Solos, and Blood Money.

Developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software and published by Activision, “Call of Duty: Warzone” is a free-to-play battle royale video game that is playable on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. It allows online multiplayer combat among 150 players set in the fictional city of Verdansk in Eastern Ukraine on day 96 of Operation: Rapid Sunder.
