CBS Fall Schedule For 2012-2013 Announced, TV Lineup To Include Six New Series Despite Cancelled Shows

Along with an announcement from major TV networks that a large amount of primetime shows will be cancelled for the fall season, CBS announced its lineup schedule for 2012-2013, which includes Two And A Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and The Mentalist. The network will also add six new series despite mass cancellations of primetime programs.

CBS said Two And A Half Men will follow The Big Bang Theory on Thursday nights and The Mentalist will air after The Good Wife on Sundays. Golden Boy, Friend Me and Undercover Boss will begin in the middle of the season.

In addition, CBS also added six new shows to the 2012-2013 season: Elementary, Vegas, Made in Jersey, Golden Boy, Partners and Friend Me, each of which will air one weeknight aside from Wednesday.

These new series feature a great range of bold concepts, rich characters, big stars and fresh faces, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said in a statement. From a new take on Sherlock Holmes to an epic battle for control of 1960s Las Vegas to a working-class point of view in a prestigious law firm, the dramas each have a unique style and sensibility. And, our new comedy 'Parnters' fits perfectly with the CBS Monday night tradition of relationship comedies with a lot of heart and humor.

The announcement comes after CBS said it cancelled CSI: Miami, Rob, NYC 22, A Gifted Man and How to Be a Gentleman.
