Eight hundred of Chrysler’s 2,400 dealers will be dropped and finance agreements will be renegotiated according to dealers who participated in a conference call with a lawyer, the Detroit Free Press reported.

Pierre Bergeron, an attorney in the Cincinnati office of Squires Sanders, a law firm that is seeking to represent dealers Fiat and Chrysler want to drop, led the conference call.

President Barack Obama’s auto task force have pushed Chrysler and General Motors to drastically reduce their dealer networks.

Surviving dealers will be identified in a filing that dealers say will come Thursday.

Even those on the list could face an uncertain future.
