The high-octane action roguelite "Dead Cells" just received a new update that features a bunch of iconic characters from some of the best indie titles released in the past decade, making it one of the biggest collaborations the game has ever done.

Dubbed the "Everyone is Here Vol. 2" update, developer Motion Twin added several new weapons and costumes for "Dead Cells" players to enjoy for free.

Here's a list of the second batch of game characters and weapons from the new collab event:

  • "Risk of Rain" – The Commando, Laser Glaive

Just like with the previous batch of crossover characters, "Everyone is Here Vol. 2" adds notable weapons from other games. Some weapons in the new update overlap with existing ones in the game, so the developers decided to put their own twists into them.

"Katana Zero's" special weapon, for example, is redundant with "Dead Cell's" existing katana. To make this new version unique, Motion Twin decided to capitalize on the use of throwable objects instead.

"Slay the Spire's" unique weapon also deserves a special mention as it is seemingly the most complicated of the bunch.

Diverse Deck grants players the power of the deck-building roguelite's four base classes. Each class has an active and passive effect, and players can cycle through them by using whichever power is currently active.

All of the new weapons will be incorporated into the game's usual loot rewards and drop tables. However, the unique costumes will require players to be more proactive as they are locked behind new challenges in the book of clues in the Prisoner's Quarters.

The release of this update also coincides with the announcement for "Terraria" and its upcoming 1.4.5 patch. Re-Logic didn't reveal any details regarding what's coming in this update, but fans are speculating that a similar crossover might happen within the 2D survival game's randomly generated worlds, similar to previous crossovers with other IPs.
