Eminem is the latest artist to follow in Taylor Swift’s footsteps by allowing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden to use his song for a political ad.

The rapper and his 2002 hit song “Lose Yourself” began trending on Twitter Monday after Biden released his latest ad campaign.

In the video, 45-second ad titled, “One Opportunity,” Americans are encouraged to become proactive and head to the polls on election day.

When the ad begins, Eminem can be heard saying, “Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity / To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment / Would you capture it or just let it slip?”

In the caption of the video shared on Biden’s official YouTube page, voters are reminded of the 77-year-old’s beliefs.

“Former Vice President Joe Biden is running for president to restore the soul of the nation. He believes it’s time to remember who we are. We’re Americans: tough and resilient,” that caption read.

“We choose hope over fear. Science over fiction. Truth over lies. And unity over division. We are the United States of America. And together, there is not a single thing we can’t do.”

Eminem also shared the video on Twitter.

Biden’s use of Eminem’s song for a campaign ad comes after Swift gave the former vice president permission to use her song, “Only the Young” for a Biden-Harris 2020 political ad.

In the video, the voice of vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris can be heard saying, “Why are so many powerful people trying to make it so difficult for us to vote?”

From there, Swift’s song begins to play with the singer belting out, “It keeps me awake / The look on your face/ The moment you heard the news.”

Throughout the ad, images of women’s marches can be seen as well as social protests, Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation, and voters becoming emotional over the upcoming election.

Swift formally endorsed Biden and Harris last month in V magazine’s Thought Leaders issue.
