A fake video of Joe Biden forgetting what state he was in by confusing Florida for Minnesota has been viewed over 1 million times.

The video, which was posted on Twitter over the weekend, features Biden taking the stage at a rally with a sign that had “Tampa, Florida” written across it behind the former vice president and “Text FL to 30330” written on the podium.

However, when Biden addresses the crowd, he said, “Hello Minnesota!”

The video went viral when someone shared it and accused Biden of forgetting where he was. In less than 24 hours, the video garnered over 1.1 million views, according to CNN.

Although the post alleges that Biden was confused about his whereabouts, it turns out the rally took place in Minnesota, and the signs in the video were edited.

CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan shared a photo of the doctored image with arrows pointing out where the edits were made.

“A FALSE video claiming Biden forgot what state he was in was viewed more than 1 million times on Twitter in the past 24 hours,” O’Sullivan wrote. "In the video, Biden says ‘Hello, Minnesota.’

“The event did indeed happen in MN -- signs on stage read MN, but false video edited signs to read Florida.”

In the fake video, the sign on the podium reads, “Tampa, Florida.”

After the growing number of views, people began reporting the video to Twitter as “manipulated media,” and the user eventually deleted the post.
