Two former cast members of “Game of Thrones,” Jack Gleeson and Pedro Pascal, are now promoting their respective new projects. The two actors spoke about the popular TV show in different interviews recently.

Gleeson played the role of Joffrey Baratheon in the fantasy TV series. Speaking to TheDailyBeast, the actor said that he hasn’t been watching the show and has only managed to catch a few clips. He said that having been a part of the filming process; he knew that the sets on the screen weren’t real and after having spent time with the actors he knew they weren’t really the characters they portray on screen.

The actor pointed out that even though the viewers also know that the sets on the show are not real, they are able to convince themselves more easily because they haven’t been a part of the filming process. Gleeson, however, apparently finds the show “hard to watch.”

Gleeson is currently working on plays and children shows with his production company Collapsing Horse Theatre Company. The company’s latest project is a puppet show titled “Bears in Space” that is said to be aimed at people between the ages of 9 and 90 and will be releasing in London in August.

The actor is not using the popularity of “Game of Thrones” in order to promote his new project and the fact that he was a part of the popular TV series has not been mentioned on the Facebook page or on the website selling tickets for the puppet show. Gleeson feels that people shouldn’t come to the show just to see him, but to experience a “fun hour, hour-and-a-half of entertaining theater.”

Another former cast member of the show, Pascal, is currently promoting his new TV series “Narcos.” Speaking to EntertainmentWeekly, the actor said that the fantasy TV series “would take a lot of inspiration” from the drug wars in Colombia, which is the main theme of the Netflix series.

The actor said that he had a similar experience filming “Narcos” to “Game of Thrones” as they both involved going on locations to film the scenes. The actor later added that the new TV series doesn’t need dragons because they have cocaine on the show.
