A giant flash mob wreaked havoc at a Florida Wal-Mart by destroying merchandise and terrorizing customers, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

While flash mobs are usually known for entertaining people with music and dance, this particular mob of 300 teenagers did nothing more than cause destruction in the Jacksonville store.

Police reports state that the group descended on the Wal-Mart at 11:20 p.m. Saturday after coming from a nearby party that had been broken up.

A video of the incident, which has been uploaded to YouTube, shows the group of teens smashing merchandise and throwing food. In the process they also destroyed a scanner meant to prevent shoplifting, News4Jax.com reported.

You've got a large number of people going and coming at the same time they are throwing produce, Channel 4's crime analyst Ken Jefferson said. They are stealing items; they are all over the store. You can imagine how fearful the customers were who were in there at that particular time.

Gunshots were allegedly heard outside the store, but no one was hit.

No arrests were made after the incident, but those involved could face criminal charges should the Duval County Sheriff's Office make arrests.

Since the miscreants were black, the YouTube video has attracted many racist comments, with users blaming the teenager's color for the episode.

It's interesting to see how many people think a video like this gives them the freedom to let their vile and racist inner-thoughts out. I guess we should be thankful for their honesty in a sense because many of these people in real life would be far too afraid to say anything like what is being posted here. We still have a long way to go, writes user Markerey in response to some of the comments.

Everyone's quick to generalize these people on race rather than look at the environment they probably come from that raises this kind of ignorance and attitude. All of you spouting this racist s--t f----n' disgust me. We are all human and there's trash on both sides of the fence but it comes from somewhere. People aren't born this way, said another user who goes by the name Sir Apocalypse.
