"The Fosters" is back! The Season 3B premiere of the Freeform (formerly ABC Family) drama is Monday. It has been awhile since fans checked in with the many ups and downs of TV's most progressive California family. Here's everything fans need to know before episode 11, "First Impressions":

1. "Callie" Conundrum

In the summer finale, Rita (Rosie O'Donnell) repaid Callie (Maia Mitchell) for the help clearing Rita's name in the punching incident at Girls United by recommending adoption to Callie's judge. However, Callie and Brandon had slept together in the cabin the night after Brandon's piano concert believing that her chances of adoption were gone. They then had to keep the affair under wraps when the time came for Callie's hearing and the judge shockingly changed his mind, approving her adoption. Now that Callie is officially Brandon's sister, will the pair confess their hot and heavy mistake to their moms?

Apparently, the couple-turned-siblings do not see eye to eye on what to do.

“That’s how secrets stop being secret — when you tell people,” says Brandon in a promo released in December, disagreeing with Callie that they should fess up.

"I thought we were in this together," Callie retorts.

"We can't be in this together," asserts Brandon, suggesting that it might be hard for their relationship to recover from this difficult situation.

2. "Jonnor" Goes Long Distance

Also in the summer finale, Connor (Gavin Macintosh) decided to move to Los Angeles to live with his mother to avoid the harsh treatment and judgment from his father, Adam (Chris Bruno), about being gay. The news was a devastating blow for boyfriend Jude (Hayden Byerly). While he first resented Connor for choosing to move away from him, he eventually accepted that Connor needed to be somewhere where he was accepted.

However, long distance will not be easy.

"It could possibly threaten their relationship, because long distance relationships are tough," Gavin Macintosh, who plays Connor, told International Business Times in January. You can't see the person and there is a lot of jealousy going on. There has already been jealousy in the past in Jude and Connor's relationship, so I'm sure there will be some drama if they don't break up."

That does not sound good. In the promo above, Jude tells a teary-eyed Connor, "It will never be the same without you." Can the couple survive?

3. Welcome Home, Jesus

The bonus surprise after Callie's long overdue adoption in the summer finale was that Jesus finally came home. Of course, the character has a new look — Noah Centineo is taking the role over from Jake T. Austin. However, as happy as fans were to see Mariana's (Cierra Ramirez) twin back on the show, the return of Jesus will not come without some drama.

In a sneak peek video, released in December, Jesus is hanging out with his sister, as well as his ex-girlfriend, Emma (Amanda Leighton). Things are pretty much back to normal for Jesus, who teases Mariana about her efforts to get into a good college, pretending to fall asleep during her explanation of a new club she is joining. Then, there is a knock on the door — it's Lexi (Bianca A. Santos), as in his other ex-girlfriend Lexi! Jesus is happy to see her, but not as much Mariana, who leaps up to hug her long, lost best friend. Lexi explains that her family is back from Honduras ... for good. Mariana is over the moon, but Jesus and Emma share a worried glance. Things are about to get awkward!

4. Premiere Synopsis

According to the synopsis for the Season 3B premiere, "First Impressions," Callie's website, the one that caught the judge's attention during her hearing, draws some interest from a big time investor. Meanwhile, Brandon is approached by a recruiter from Juilliard after winning the composition competition at camp.

Elsewhere, Mariana launches her campaign for class president and Mike (Danny Nucci) discovers that A.J. (Tom Williamson) is hiding a secret. Plus, a sneak peek scene from the premiere reveals that A.J.'s grandmother has died. Poor A.J.!

5. Season 4

For "The Fosters" fans, the final leg of Season 3 will go by in a flash, but do not worry. According to Deadline Hollywood, Freeform has picked up the show for a fourth season. So, viewers have far from seen the last of "Callie," "Jonnor" and the rest of the Fosters gang.

“We have so many more stories to tell about The Fosters family,” said Freeform EVP Karey Burke. “These incredible characters have come into our lives and touched so many — from Stef and Lena’s wedding to the adoptions of Callie and Jude.”

"The Fosters airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform.
