Leaked photos from the production set of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 show some of the main cast members filming an important scene. The pictures reveal how the Lannisters and the Tyrells plan to resolve a contentious issue, which may have become even more complicated than before.

[Spoiler alert]

Pictures posted on ElPuntAvui show Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen Baratheon) and Jonathan Pryce (High Sparrow) surrounded by extras dressed as the Lannister soldiers and Faith Militants. More than 150 extras are said to have been used in this scene.

The scene being filmed may bring an end to the problem of Margaery’s confinement by the Faith Militants. According to the report, the scene begins with the High Sparrow making a speech to the people about Margaery. Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is said to appear later in the scene with a group of House Tyrell soldiers.

The report also talks about King Tommen appearing from inside the cathedral in the scene and he is said to be surrounded by guards bearing the sign of the Faith of the Seven. According to WinterIsComing, this suggests that King Tommen has been taken prisoner by the High Sparrow and needs to be rescued by Jaime.

A stunt double is said to have been used for the scene in place of Coster-Waldau. The stunt double apparently rode the horse till the steps of the cathedral and Coster-Waldau later appears in the scene. Two white horses were reportedly on the set, while one was being used to film the scene the other was a substitute that was kept nearby.

The Lannisters have been in an uneasy alliance with the Tyrells, but the alliance appeared to be on the brink in the previous season. It was Cersei (Lena Headey) who had orchestrated the arrest of Margaery after allowing the High Sparrow to form the Faith Militants. Jaime leading Tyrell troops suggest that the alliance will continue to hold in the next season.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is expected to return sometime in April 2016.
