It will be a day of manipulation as the residents of Port Charles attempt to use their wits to outsmart enemies. On the Wednesday, July 11 episode of “General Hospital,” Nelle and Michael will discuss their prenup as Peter pressures Obrecht to make a decision.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) tells Michael (Chad Duell) she talked to a lawyer about the prenup he wants her to sign. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Nelle suffers a setback. Nelle is under the assumption that she is a hot commodity in Port Charles. Not only is Michael rushing to marry her, but Chase (Josh Swickard) declared his love for her and asked her to leave Michael.

Although Nelle wasn’t up for dumping her adoring fiancé, she will discover he may not love her as much as she thinks he does. Nelle is all about having the perfect endgame, and that can’t happen if she signs a prenup that denies her access to Michael’s money.

Chances are Nelle’s lawyer doesn’t approve of the prenup put in place, which means the wedding could be put on hold or called off. Will Nelle sign the prenup or will she be able to convince Michael to have a change of heart?

Michael’s family has been worried about his safety now that Nelle has easy access to him, but Sonny (Maurice Benard) is confident Michael will be just fine. In the previous episode, Sonny explained if his son wants to hurt someone, he knows exactly how to do it. Will Michael’s desire to ruin Nelle make him reconsider the prenup?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Peter (Wes Ramsey) tells Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) it’s time to choose between her revenge and her freedom. In the previous episode, Nina (Michelle Stafford) saved herself and Liesl from being charged with kidnapping when Finn (Michael Easton) and Franco (Roger Howarth) came snooping around the cabin in the woods.

Nina took Peter down to the cellar and stopped Liesl from smothering him out of fear Finn would eventually find out their dirty little secret.

“GH” spoilers reveal Obrecht is distracted. Still grieving over Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) death, Obrecht wants Peter to pay for his part in her son’s murder. While she may be ready to kill Peter, it appears he is doing anything he can to stay alive.

Does Peter manage to distract Obrecht from ending his life or does something else catch the doctor’s attention?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
