Robin Thicke seems to be on an intense mission to win back wife, Paula Patton, but it doesn't seem to be going so well for the R&B crooner. On Wednesday, during an interview with New York’s Hot 97 radio station, the 37-year-old admitted that “I haven’t seen her for four months,” when asked about the actress.

The two recently went their separate ways after nine years of marriage, but the separation came as little shock to fans, after Thicke was photographed in compromising positions with a number of women while at nightclubs.

"We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," they said in a joint statement to People magazine in February. But the “Blurred Lines” singer is keen on winning Patton’s heart back. “Robin desperately wants to save his marriage,” a source told TMZ at the time, and he wants to show Patton he can be a “good husband.”

But Thicke is doing whatever it takes to win back the affections of his wife. His upcoming album will be titled “Paula,” and it will be dedicated to her.

This latest effort to win her back may work out in the singer's favor, especially after Patton opened up about Thicke last month in Vanity Fair. "We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there -- always was, and always will be," she declared.

Patton and Thicke married in 2005 after dating throughout their teenage years. They met at an 18-and-under nightclub in Los Angeles when she was only 15 and he was 14. Thicke said in an interview last year that he knew right away that Patton was the woman for him. “I knew she was special the night I met her,” and years later, their love is still ironclad, he said at the time. “As a relationship progresses, you fall in love again in so many deeper ways. You realize that you need each other and you can’t live without each other.” They now have a 3-year-old son, Julian.
