Brad Pitt’s encounter with Jennifer Aniston during her 50th birthday party may have been all people could focus on, but a new report is claiming the “Friends” alum isn’t the only ex-girlfriend the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” spoke to at the celebration.

Prior to his relationship with Aniston, Pitt dated Gwyneth Paltrow from 1994-1997. Although “The Avengers” actress often speaks fondly of her ex-boyfriend in interviews, rumors suggest the two had a bitter break up.

However, RadarOnline recently published an article claiming Pitt and Paltrow worked out their issues and were on good terms at Aniston’s birthday party following years of “awkwardness.”

“They’ve bumped into each other a few times at parties in the Hollywood Hills and now things are totally cool between them,” an alleged source told the site.

“They had a nice exchange at Jen’s party too, apparently, which would have been great for everyone to see,” the mysterious tipster added.

Pitt met Aniston in 1998 following his relationship with Paltrow and married the “Dumplin’” star in 2000. “She and Brad had some awkwardness between them for many years and didn’t speak. It was one of those cases where they broke up on poor terms, even though Gwyneth would say nice things about him in interviews,” the supposed confidant explained.

Paltrow previously praised Pitt during a 2018 Vanity Fair interview for confronting Harvey Weinstein after he allegedly sexually harassed her in 1995. “He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet. He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you,’ or something like that,” she explained.

Despite the RadarOnline report, neither Pitt nor Paltrow have acknowledged rumors suggesting their break up created “awkwardness between them.”
