Princess Beatrice must have found it difficult to watch Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter had to watch her younger sister marry the love of her life first before it was her turn to walk down the aisle. Princess Beatrice went through a painful split from ex-boyfriend Dave Clark after their decade-long relationship. The heartbreak reportedly left Princess Beatrice “devastated.”

“She was so devastated by that, so it is really lovely to have this,” an insider said now that the royal is engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

A source also said that it might have been difficult for Princess Beatrice to witness Princess Eugenie walking down the aisle ahead of her.

“I think it was very hard for her when she split up with Dave, it was tough on her. And it must have been difficult as the eldest to watch her little sister go down the aisle,” the source said.

Princess Beatrice was completely devoted to the American Uber executive that she even moved to San Francisco and New York just to be with him as he grew the taxi app Uber. When they split, Princess Beatrice’s entire family, the Duke and Duchess of York, and Princess Eugenie were “completely” shocked.

Last year, Clark married advertising executive Lynn Anderson. Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice has since moved on and is now happy with her current love.

There are rumors that Princess Beatrice will ban his father on her big day because the Duke of York is associated to the Epstein scandal due to his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. An unnamed source said that the bride doesn’t want any drama on her big day.

“Bea is seriously considering not inviting her father to the wedding because of all the Epstein drama,” a source told New Idea. “It’s all such a messy and disgraceful affair and Bea hates that her father is tied up in it all and she doesn’t want that drama ruining her wedding.”

However, according to Martin Robinson of Daily Mail, Princess Beatrice’s engagement is a rare piece of good news for her father. Also, the Yorks are very close, so it is still very likely that Prince Andrew will have the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle on her royal wedding despite the rumors.
