Something about Maddie’s real identity will be revealed in Season 1 finale of “Imposters.”

In a recent interview with TVLine, co-creator Paul Adelstein said that fans must watch tonight’s Season 1, episode 10 of the Bravo series to find out a thing or two about Maddie’s true self. While Adelstein didn’t give a clue about what those things are, he did suggest that Maddie may be sharing those aspects of her real life with her former ex and victim, Ezra (Rob Heaps).

“[Maddie is] intrigued by this new Ezra,” Adelstein said. “It’s really changed her view of him. For someone who’s been looking for something real, something normal, is he maybe the one who can provide it? She felt like she could really reveal herself with Patrick (Stephen Bishop), but obviously, she was burned by that. Maybe Ezra is the person she can really tell her story to and really show the real Maddie to?”

As previously reported, Maddie and FBI agent Patrick are going to tie the knot in the season finale as part of their deal to catch the Doctor (Ray Proscia). But unbeknown to Patrick and the feds, Maddie, Max (Brian Benben) and the Bumblers have their own plan to get away from the authorities and from the Doctor himself.

In Season 1, episode 8, Patrick agreed to Maddie’s plan to lure the Doctor by using half a million dollars as bait. “Gary Heller (Aaron Douglas) was laundering money for the doctor. He was also skimming,” Maddie revealed to Patrick in the episode. “The Doctor thinks he recovered all of it, but when I tell him I found a half a million dollars more of his buried in Heller’s house, he will come to collect.”

But without the FBI’s knowledge, the Doctor won’t really be showing up at the wedding to collect the money. As revealed at the end of Season 1, episode 9, Max will disguise as the Doctor to get the half a million dollars.

“Imposters” Season 1 finale, titled “Always Forward, Never Back,” airs on Tuesday, April 11 at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.
